LockpicPrivacy enforced by architecture.
A privacy policy is a promise. Removing network permission is an operating-system boundary: Lockpic does not ask Android for general internet access.
No email address, phone number, identity profile, or Lockpic password-reset service.
No Lockpic infrastructure receives photos, videos, metadata, patterns, phrases, or decryption keys.
No advertising, behavioural analytics, crash-reporting, or device-identifier SDK inside the Android app.
No ad network and no reason to profile vault use for targeting.
The trade-offs are real.
Lockpic cannot silently sync vaults between devices, recover a forgotten secret from a server, send remote alerts, or restore media you never backed up. Support cannot inspect your account because no account exists.
You control availability through a recovery phrase and portable encrypted backup. That is more responsibility than a cloud service, and it is documented during onboarding.
Google Play handles the purchase.
Lockpic Pro is a one-time Google Play product. The app communicates with the Play Store app through Android's local billing interface; Lockpic itself does not need general internet permission. Google Play handles the payment account and returns entitlement status.
Lockpic caches only whether Pro is owned. It does not receive payment-card details.
You can still choose an online destination.
When you export media or an encrypted backup, Android's system document interface lets you choose a destination. That destination might be local storage, a USB drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, or another provider.
The transfer is performed by the destination provider you select, under its permissions and privacy policy—not through a Lockpic server. Plaintext media exported from Lockpic is no longer protected by vault encryption; exported Lockpic backups remain encrypted.
How to verify the claim.
After release, open Lockpic's Google Play listing and review its Data safety and permissions sections. Android settings also show the permissions granted to an installed app.
The more important proof is behavioural: Lockpic works in airplane mode, requires no signup, and offers no server-backed reset. Read the privacy policy and security architecture for the complete boundary.
